The holiday season at the office is always a nice time, filled with decorations, holiday cheer and often times, some baked goods and candy that a generous co-worker has put out for all to enjoy. Its an opportunity to extend greetings and give gifts to those we appreciate and love. However, for families who have fallen on tough times, the holidays can be a time of stress and sadness.<\/p>\n

Each year Jennifer Mullins, a Client Relationship Manager for Kepner-Tregoe (KT) coordinates a series of events so all of us at the office have an opportunity to brighten the holidays for local families. Jennifer, working with community organizers, selects several families\u2014all of whom are experiencing some kind of hardship, be it financial, health-related, or the loss of a loved one. The family members create wish lists and KT employees get a chance to select from those lists the gifts they would like to purchase. Additionally, KT and those employees who don\u2019t have time to shop provide cash, allowing Jennifer to fill in any open items and also supplement the gift giving with cash cards from area grocery stores. The event culminates with a wrapping party, including a holiday luncheon and gift-wrapping activities. Temporarily taking on the role of Santa, Jennifer delivers tree-ready gifts that brighten Christmas morning for grateful families.<\/p>\n

Their heartfelt thanks warm our hearts and as a result this event has become a tradition at Kepner-Tregoe, lifting the spirits of all involved and better yet, making a difference in the lives of others.<\/p>\n
